From stained glass to sculptures to colorful murals – Middleton’s Outdoor Art Trail takes visitors on a journey through the city while viewing its beautiful outdoor art installations and murals. History<\/a><\/h3>

Middleton traces its beginnings to an 1832 fur trading post along the northern shore of Lake Mendota. The Township formed in 1848 with the railroad arriving in 1856. The current depot was built in 1895 and serves as the\u00a0 Middleton Visitor Center.
